We have ensured all members are trained on their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when responding to potential medical calls. Our station will only be available to emergency responders. The above items are precautions, to be ready to serve you and your family when you need us. We are here for you, if you have an emergency, still call 9-11. We just ask that you please advise us prior to us entering your home or approaching you if you feel like you may have some flu-like symptoms or have been around those that have been sick. We have precautions and procedures in place that we will follow to protect ourselves. Letting us know that you may be sick will NOT change the quality or level of service that we will provide - we will just be a little more cautious so we do not spread whatever illness you may have. Make sure you receive information regarding COVID-19 updates from reliable resources such as: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoViindex.html or https://www.healthvermontgov/responselinfectious-disease/2019-novel-coronavirus Call us if you need us, we'll be here for you. Sincerely, Proctor Fire   Assessor’s Office The Assessor’s office will make every attempt to make information available by e-mail as much as possible.   Online resources are available for Lister Cards through GIS mapping for the Town of Proctor.  See Town of Proctor Maps below.   Rutland County Sheriff Department With the latest developments of COVID-19, the Rutland County Sheriff Department will work to limit personal contact to emergency events only to slow the spread of COVID-19. All other matters that do not require an Immediate or any Deputy response will be taken care of by phone if possible. Questionable calls for service (respond or phone call) by a Deputy will be routed through a supervisor for guidance on how to proceed. Emergency calls should continue to be reported to us via 9-1-1. In non-emergency cases, such as past vandalism, thefts, or animal complaints, yin inspections, etc. In cases like these Deputies will generally be taking reports from the public over the phone. The Rutland County Sheriff Dept will continue to serve your communities, however over the next few weeks we will limit personal contact as much as possible for the safety of essential law enforcement officers and to the members of our community in an attempt to slow the spread of COVID-19 Please continue to call with complaints or concerns as we are still open for business but are limiting responses where possible.
