The Board of Civil Authority consists of the Town Clerk, the Selectboard and the Justices of the Peace. The Board reviews the checklist and removes names from the checklist when voters have moved from the Town; has charge of the conduct of elections and hears tax appeals from persons aggrieved by the final decision of the listers (assessor).
